economics explains it all.
lack of intellectual resources and essential raw materials like common sense have resulted in no absolute advantages in physics, chemistry, math, or econs. this industry probably only has comparative advantages in the production of Half Assed Blog Entries or Speed Toilet Using Technology. attempts to conquer the dismal lack of natural endowments by creating a comparative advantage 'artificially' have failed due to unbelievably slow and inefficient thinking processes, thus acquisition of economies of scales is not possible. true to the laws of capitalism, industries which are not efficient or competent should just drop out of existence.
sometimes i wonder why this industry is located in an industrial estate which houses so many brilliant and wonderfully efficient industries. no wonder this industry have acquired a high marginal propensity to go crazy.
since this will probably constitute a colossal waste of resources if protectionistic measures are undertaken, resources should be channelled to other industries in the form of subsidies (scholarships) and research opportunities.
makes alot of sense, doesnt it.
nope, i'm not really being pessismistic. just trying my hand at applying international trade theory to black humour, even if i'm the only one who thinks it's funny.
